The Klickitat River is one of the finest summer steelhead rivers in southern Washington. About an hour east of Portland Or. and about ten miles east of Hood River. It all starts in the mountains and glaciers of nearby Mt. Adams, the Klickitat winds its way south until it meets up and joins the Columbia River.
Steelhead start showing up on the Klickitat around mid June, however, the river can fish well in the mid summer with the cool evening and moderate day temps.
We have been putting chrome fish to the boat every day. With beautiful weather and great Steelhead fishing book your next trip with us. Still have some dates open in August .
I spend a lot of time on the water or out in the field. I’ll get back to you as soon as I’m able.
Give me a call to book your trip
